Overall a good experience until last night. My wife's nurse did not advocate for her when she needed pain management help and instead refused my request to have the doctor called to update instructions. When I came and asked for help from the charge nurse (I waited at the nurse's station), security was summoned and I was warned that I would be removed from the Hospital and banned. This happen on the Fifth Floor at 5am November 6th. My wife was in room 519.
RecommendedVery nice clean facility, very patient friendly.... Wish I was still working there but had to spread my smile else where :D Seton is a wonderful place to work/stay if your just needing to be looked at or even a long stay the nurses try there best everyday work there butts off to try to give 100% sometimes expectations aren't met sure but that's anywhere you go to be honest seton is very loyal to there patients and wanting the best for them while they are there they also recommend filling out the survey cause they do listen t... read more
Worse experience.... I don’t recommend anybody here. Me and my friend have been waiting. 1am is 6:356am nothing but blanket.. day shift can’t figure what night shift did
They have the most amazing Neonatal intensive care unit nd Wonderful Staff
I just had my tonsils and adenoids taken out yesterday. And since it was my first surgery ever I would have to say it was the best experience I could have had. I loved all the staff. Very friendly and made me laugh and great "bedside" manner. My doctor did a great job and honestly everyone did. Right down to the valet gentleman and the woman who registered me. I would recommend this hospital to everyone.
---- 07/25/18 ---- After being transferred from a different hospital to the L&D unit at Seton Medical Center five different doctors and students decided to feel on my cervix to check for dilation. I had already been told there was no dilation at the previous hospital and I wasn't having any contractions. I absolutely hate this hospital. Incredibly rude staff. I made an online appointment to be seen at 7:00pm and when I got there, I was greeted very poorly and the office staff was very unprofessional. I should've got the two ladies names before I left just because I think they should be dealt with. After for sitting there for almost 45 minutes, I walked out. I delivered here with a schedule c-section. The labor and delivery team, mother - baby, and NICU were all so amazing. My son had some potential medical issues and the communication and care we received was outstanding. Thank you for a great experience during a stressful time.
