I love Sequoia Diner. Unfortunately they ran out of biscuits by the time we got there. But everything is delicious even while being heartbroken with biscuit deprivation. I look forward to returning earlier in the day for my biscuit craving.

Yummy breakfasts made with high quality ingredients, warm and efficient service, cozy diner feel. This is a neighborhood gem.
The food was wonderful. We were skipped over accidentally and seated over an hour after we'd arrived. That angered us, as we were very hungry BUT the staff comped our drinks and pastries in exchange for our inconvenience. Classy. We'll be back... P.S. A note to patrons: Please be considerate and don't linger too long after finishing your meal when there are hungry folks waiting to be seated. (The party in the booth before us remained seated for 2 1/2 hours!)
Food was amazing as always, and staff did an excellent job with service. Host was great at keeping track of the large group outside waiting and was super nice.😀

"We have a small place so we have to ask you to leave soon." It's not cool to ignore patrons after they get their food (even if you are busy) so much so that we are looking around for a coffee refill and someone to order something additional from and to get boxes for our leftovers and then be told once the check comes the above. It's too bad too, because we had a friend in town and were trying to show him the "best of," and I am over 8 months pregnant so my tolerance for rude behavior is null.
