Delicious brunch at a reasonable price. Hard to beat Sequoia Diner for great food!

So delicious!! We were on our way home from spending the weekend in SF watching my nephew graduate and wanted a place off the path to eat. Found this little gem and boy was it worth it! Service was great and food was awesome!!! Wish we lived closer so we could go more often cause the chicken and waffle was out of this world as was the grapefruit mimosa!! Yum!! Here’s to hoping one makes its way to So. Cal!
Everything we ordered was sooooo good. There were 4 of us and we just kept passing our plates around to each other so we can all try everything. Get there early, lots of shops within walking distance, coffee and Beast Oakland are right across the street. You will NOT be disappointed.
Always fantastic food. Some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in my life can be found at Sequoia. I love the vintage charm of the place and everyone who works there is always above and beyond with their positivity and friendliness. Bonus points for the local shop cat that said hello to me while I waited for a spot at the counter. That said, keep in mind that there will likely be a wait for a seat. It’s well worth any wait though as the food and service is just that good. I can’t wait to go back.
