A shout out to Subaru. We tend to keep our cars forever and we love our Subie which is a tank in the snow and heretofore bulletproof. Our Forester which we ordered in 2010, developed a problem at 96k miles which needed tended to. There were no service alerts or recalls and the car was very much out of any warranty either expressed or implied.
