October 23, 2022, was my first visit to Seminole Toyota, which was to buy a car for my son. We received a very warm welcome from Mr. ****, the most polite salesman I have met in any auto dealership. Mr. **** and his manager helped us through the sale process and made it a pleasant experience. However, don't be fooled by this fake hospitality. The vehicles displayed on the lot were dirty and dusty to hide many surprises. At the time of receiving the car keys and ready to leave, the car was washed from the outside to discover ... read more

I would give them zero stars... BEWARE, If you are getting service done here!!! They are a huge rip off. On 2 different occasions we took our 2015 toyota tundra in to have repairs. 1st time for brakes squealing and 2nd for humming noise coming from tires. We left with same brake squealing noise, paid for a part they broke and blamed us for, spent money for repairs and no resolution. 2nd time we paid for diagnostic of problem, were told it was bearings in front tires, paid roughly $1800 for job, we pick up truck and same nois... read more

Charged me $70 for a diagnostic fee, told me I needed to replace a part that was broken ($1,000 repair). Come to find out the part was only disconnected. They refuse to refund diagnostic fee even though they tried to stiff me out of 1k...even if it was an error, you still didn't do what you was paid to do.

My husband & I purchased a 2021 Toyota from Seminole Toyota in Sanford, FL three weeks ago. After we got home, we started reviewing the paperwork we signed. There was something about a company called Zaktek that we weren't familiar with. The finance officer Jonathan ****** had never explained what Zaktek was, let alone if we wanted to pay the $600.00 fee for the ceramic clear coat on our vehicle. It was our mistake for not reading the form my husband signed (we relied too much on what ****** told us we were signing). However... read more

I purchased a 2017 Nissan Versa on January 11th, 2022. Please be aware of Seminole Toyota Whenever I come to stop sign or a red light and everytime I go to press on the gas again it feels like the vehicle wants to shut off. so I made an appt for Feb 25th 2022 which then I bought my car in for the services which I payed $487 for the belts and the pulley but my car continued to do the same thing The next day of February 26th, 2022. So I called JC several time and left messages to let him know that my car was having the same pr... read more

We mistakenly allowed our elderly mother to visit this dealer alone. They took advantage of her to order expensive options she did not need. When the car she ordered came in early, they harassed her to come to pick it up, even though we had already scheduled time off on the date scheduled. We arrived at the dealership and they could not find the sales person or the car. Process took hours. Most paperwork was lost, so had to fill it all out again. When I discovered the options they sold mom, I objected. They refused to credit... read more

I had driven up from my home in Ft. Lauderdale, FL to visit my sister in the Orlando, FL area and while there my Toyota wouldn't start. I assumed it was the starter since I had a new battery installed the week before which was confirmed by the AAA service person. He was able to start it so I took it to the nearest Toyota dealership which was Seminole Toyota in Sanford. I have an extensive extended warranty with a $100 deductible on anything mechanical. To my surprise they charged an additional $88 diagnostic fee which is not... read more

Tried to sell services and repairs that were not needed. Assumed my son knew nothing about cars, and when he informed them he knew what repairs were in fact needed and what was not, the storyline kept changing. They obviously tried to take advantage of him offering to replace new parts installed professionally less then a month ago. This is the first time I've found in over 30 years that any Toyota dealership was this dishonest. Beware of this shop!

My wife went to get two new tires on her fj cruiser when I got home and looked at them they put tires on it that didn't match the other two When we called them they said sorry u signed the page. When we called the corporate office a case manger called her back and after a discussion he got upset and hung up on her. This place doesn't know what customer service is. Will never recommend them to anybody
