My sister was at Select Specialty Hospital for a month. Communication with family member was not strong. Strict protocols on COVID and family visiting. I believe they did try to give my sister rehab but she made minimal progress.
This was the worst hospital I have been to yet. Majority of the Nurses were great, with the exception of 2. They were very short staffed, I was happy to help with my husbands care. Biggest problem, my husband has ALS. He struggles to breath if not kept up at an angle. After a scary incident, signs were posted to not lay patient flat. My husband had been given a trach. So he was not able to use his voice. My husband is a Marine and never complains. One of the evening nurses called him a baby.
