Very disappointing customer service. The staff member was rude, impatient, and dismissive throughout the interaction, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The store was not busy at the time, yet she was on the phone and appeared more focused on it than on providing service to customers. Visited this Second Cup on the morning of September 12 and had a very disappointing experience with the woman at the counter/barista. I’ve visited other Second Cup locations and have generally found the baristas to be friendly and welcoming, so this experience really stood out. I simply asked if I could have a little milk on the side with my coffee. The coffee is ok. I used to have it back in the day. I got it to try today for the first time since a little kid. I liked there hot chocolate beverages etc. I think the quality has gone down the toilet. It isint the same place it used to be. The atmosphere is in a very interesting space. Kind of a small mall area. Overall I wouldn’t go back here. There is more value for money at other coffee shops around this area.

I was one of Suren Mozafari’s friends, and although we were close to the situation, I was disappointed with how we were treated. After the barista declined our request for water, she immediately took another customer’s order. I understand that there may have been a reason for declining our request, but I feel that providing water would have been a simple and reasonable gesture.
