I went in to grab a latte. The coffee itself was average, but what really stood out was the impersonal service. The barista (an Asian woman) didn’t make eye contact or acknowledge me when I walked in, her demeanor felt cold and unwelcoming. I used to like this place, but unfortunately, it no longer feels inviting. Time to take my business elsewhere.
Loved the staff and the coffee here! The staff is very welcoming and the coffee is just perfect. The best part is they give ceramic mugs and discounts if you bring your own mug. In love with their Vanilla Bean Latte and Flavoured Brewed Coffee.
I’ve been living in Bloor west for close to a decade, so I have seen the neighbourhood change for the better…except in some places I have been to Second Cup three times in as many weeks to which I have received increasingly bad service. This morning was the final straw, I asked for the key to the bathroom to which their response was “well are you going to buy anything?” So thank you second cup for helping not give you anymore money…I only bring up it’s been multiple times because I’m sure management is going to blame the fro... read more
