I initially made an appointment with Sears for a Friday. I received a call just before 2pm during my 10-2 appt range, saying their mainframe had been down all night and day and I would not be getting service that day. That someone should call me to reschedule. I called the following Monday and rescheduled for Wednesday. For that I give 3 stars. On Wednesday we had the service guy out for our dryer. I was happy with the service, but what I wasn't happy that it took 6 weeks to get things cleared up so that I could get the service.
Arrived when they said would. Completed the work in minimal time. Garage door has stopped beeping after they put a new battery in. Pleased with everythiung
Use them for our fridge and dishwasher, both purchased at Sears. Techs are always very helpful and professional. I give them 5 stars. This time, 2 glitches with scheduling the first of 2 appointments needed to repair the fridge door. Went through the entire online scheduling process only to be informed at the final step that this appointment could not be scheduled online and I had to phone in to make it. The technicians are just fine but scheduling a repair for or my garden tractors is shameful. I pay a lot of money for a three year repair contract and I have to wait three weeks is not the way it use to be.It's been this way for several years.
The service tech was really great to work with. But I hate calling Sears to make the appointment. The representative was really hard to understand and tried too hard to sell me a service contract.
3 times I have scheduled a service appointment. 3 months and still getting a the run around on the $800 service plan I purchased. Very poor communication between the store, the technicians, customer service and the warranty administration.
