They have been twice and a third visit is scheduled to complete the annual service on my appliances. The second visit was to adjust the cooktop that he couldn't figure out the first time and the third visit is to fix the refrigerator ice maker which he didn't have time for the second visit. That's three days off work because they can only give a five hour window for arrival - not acceptable.
Our repairman Bob did a great job and explained our problem thoroughly. He was a great person with a wonderful "bedside" manner for our ailing dishwasher.
I was able to get an appointment right away and Han, our service technician was very friendly and fixed our washing machine.
Most of the technicians are good. However, Sears needs to improve their system for handling repairs. I have had 4 appointments over a 6 week period. Because the previous appointment did not correct the problem. (on a 3 year old refrigerator) As Sara states below, appointments cannot be scheduled in a timely manner. For each of the 4 appointments I had to wait for a part to arrive and then as much as a week before the technician could come. This stretched the wait time to at least 10 days. Tech arrived on time. Did all checks for refrigerator professionally and politely. And no complaints on climbing to the 3rd floor.
