Sears Hometown Store in Menomonie, WI refused to give me Military discount without first photocopying my military ID card. I explained copying a military ID card was a violation of Title 18, US Code, Part I, Chapter 33, Section 701 which is punishable by fine or imprisonment. I insisted with the sales associate that copying a military ID card was against the law. She insisted she needed it for auditing purposes. Excellent service! We were purchasing a washing machine because ours quit working. We made it to the store just a few minutes before closing. We had called to let them know what we were planning to purchase and told them we had a 30 minute travel which would be pushing closing time. They said no problem. We were treated very well and didn't feel like we were being rushed because it was closing time.
Great experience buying new appliances! Jake was extremely helpful in finding me the perfect ones along with arranging a quick delivery!
