I have always been a big fan of Scottco, but today they have lost my loyalty. The plumber came to do my annual inspection and as he was draining out my hot water tank he pulled the pressure relief valve to test it. Now mind you I did not have a leak before he came. Now he couldn't get the pressure relief valve to close. I understand that you need to replace this since that is the function of the pressure relief valve but when he quoted me $311.52 to replace a $15 part. This is just outrageous.
