My surgeon Dr Carpenter is absolutely amazing. I was so nervous going in for surgery but he helped me feel right at ease and to top it off all of the nursing staff from the pre op, PACU and from my hospital room nurses were nothing less than outstanding. Highly recommend this hospital!
The doctors, nurses and staff were loving and caring and 100% professional. Dr McCormick is a blessing from god taking care of my wife. Great hospital
They need lower prices. Their ER rates are twice, sometimes six times what Bluebook lists as a "fair" price. There's no reason for it and even their customer service team will just tell you you're stuck with those rates.

I was transferred here from Baylor Scott and White - Lakeway. I am in my 4th room. And, I can say the patient care on the 4th floor is/was horrid, with the exception of one day shift nurse. Night shift staff spends time at nurse's station - cracking jokes, flirting, and speaking negatively of patients including me when a CNA was questioning if staff was sure I had broken arm. (Two xrays of it in my computer medical chart.) I realize there were disruptions from the Gatesville explosion, but that is no excuse for poor service ... read more
Bedside manner is good but food and blood drawers are awful. Gave me a panic attack to wake up to a big ass women standing over me getting ready to stab me with a needle........

I have to say I had the best care from the minute I walked into the ER too when I went home today. I was totally shocked when they got me right back into the trauma care and there was three nurses already in the room waiting on me. Then I had a team of doctors that were amazing trying to figure out what was going on with me. When I got moved upstairs to a room on Tuesday afternoon I had great care as well. The team of doctors and the nurses were amazing. The only thing I can say that wasn't so great was the food.
I have had 7 surgeries at Scott & White. I have always had outstanding care. Every doctor, nurse and PA that I’ve seen has always gone above and beyond. Best hospital I’ve ever been to.
