Care was excellent and staff was very supportive. Physical therapy facilities and staff were competent and driven to optimize recovery.
Dr. Dunitz came highly recommended by a reliable source (my wife). She had a hip replaced using local anastetic, rather than a general for health issues. Her recovery went very well. What better recommendation is needed.
Dr. Dunitz and his staff were very kind, attentive and informative in language I could understand. After my hip replacement surgery at 70 years old, I was able to do 85% of anything I wanted to do. They have been very diligent in their post op communication and care ( making sure I am progressing in my recovery etc.). I feel blessed to have Dr. Dunitz as my doctor.

I have had this pain for months. I was a bit emotional talking about it on my first visit because I was sure I was going to get another ?????. But he was kind, listened and had answers that visit!!??
Dr Dunitz was recommended to me by a friend who had a great experience with her hip surgery. She said he uses the recommended anterior approach and that it went very well. He took time to diagnose my problem, answer all of my questions and gave me a plan of care going forward. Competent and thoughtful—I highly recommend him.
I had a total knee. It became infected on day 2. I called the office and was told to lie flat on my back and put my leg straight up in the air as high as I could get it for 5 days. After 5 days it was very red and extremely hot. I again called the office and was told to send photos. What doctor does that? I sent the photos and was told to wait till the next appointment. I have been a nurse for many years and have not seen a better orthopedic surgeon than Dr. Dunitz! I had a better than hoped for recovery from a total hip replacement.
