I had a hip replacement and was up walking in no time. Plan on another surgery in the near future from him.
Dr. Scott Dunitz is the best, I have worked along side Dr. Dunitz for over 28 years as the Orthopedic Technician at St. John Medical Ctr. I highly RECOMMEND DR. DUNITZ to anyone that needs surgery, Knee, Elbows, any of the upper and lower extremities.
Dr Dunitz uses an anterior approach to hip replacement with spinal block anesthesia. This reduces the risk of dislocation and minimizes risks of anesthesia. He was very accommodating to my time situation and was able to get me into surgery in a matter of days due to an opening. I am a flyer and by following PT recommendations faithfully, I was able to get back into the cockpit 4 weeks to the day of surgery. His team is attentive, helpful, and kind.
My entire experience working with Dr. Duniz and St. John's Broken Arrow has been excellent. I would highly recommend him for anyone having knee issues. I am completely thrilled with my "life changing" knee replacement surgeries (left knee 11/15/2016, right knee2/20/2017)
