Visit was nice enjoyed meeting nurce and Dr.Dunitz. one question I have is why continual surgery rather than scope ?Why one over the other?
I saw him for a consultation. He was so good explaining everything. He was very honest. I really appreciate it when a doctor tells me what I might not want to hear. Turns out we were already on the same page.
Dr. Scott Dunitz and his team are excellent. I have had two very successful knee surgeries. I recommend Dr. Dunitz to anyone desiring a great outcome.
He performed a partial knee replacement; I needed a revision total knee replacement within one year. Apparently he had mis-measured and/or the replacement was not properly aligned. My current Orthopedic surgeon also chided him for a recent switch by Dunitz and others for exclusively using products from Exactech, Inc., a company that has had a number of recalls, and according to some make a highly inferior product for this particular surgery. It was a pleasure to meet Dr Dunitz, I was referred to him by my Primary Care Physician!! With that being said, I’m in a great deal of pain in both my knees!! His physician assistant Jessica Ferguson, was my first point of contact while waiting to see Dr Dunitz!! She was extremely knowledgeable/informative and she asked a lot of questions concerning my knees!! She took a lot of notes, then she informed me they would be taking images of both my knees!! Dr. Dunitz is a warm, caring doctor who is honest and professional to the highest standard. He informed me at my initial visit I needed wt loss surgery for the best outcome of knee replacement surgery. I did not want to hear this or go through an additional surgery. Thanks to Dr. Dunnitz knowledge and caring advise I decided to go through the Healthy lifestyles program he referred me to. BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE FOR MYSELF. So thankful for Dr. Dunitz insight and the caring way he handle the situation.
He was very concerned about my knee and pain it was causing and my loss of sleep.
I have been a patient of Dr. Dunitz since around 2007. I have always had exceptional care from Dr. Dunitz and the entire team at Tulsa Bone and Joint from knee replacement to pain control injections in my back.
