Not recommended – I do not recommend this salon. It is overpriced for services received!
Definitely not the best in town. – Prices were the highest I have ever been charged! It is not worth the drive.
Go elsewhere! – I was not impressed at all with this salon after all the reviews I read.
Great Experience – The staff was so nice and accomodating! They even offered to pick me up from near the old locaion when I was without a car!
Very impressed! – I loved going to Scissors...not only is it a quaint little adorable shop, but Simone made me feel very comfortable...especially since I was nervous cutting off TEN inches of blonde hair and changing my virgin hair to RED. She did a phenomonal job and I love it....and EVERYONE around me loves...even my MOM and she is hard to impress. I definitly recomend Simone. She is moving so look out for her new shop, trust me...it is well worth it. I LOVE MY NEW LOOK!

fabulous cut and experience! – I recently moved to Richmond and tried out a few salons that really didn't understand what I needed. After seeing so many great reviews of Simone, I decided to give it a try. Simone did an amazing job really analyzing my needs and gave me the most wonderful cut and color. Exceptional Salon – My stylist left the area, and I was looking for a new salon. A friend recommended Scissors. I have been going there ever since. Simone is a great stylist! She is very helpful in providing advice about hair style, color, and length while listening to the customer's concerns. I find this very refreshing. She is personable, talented, and her prices are reasonable. I have received more compliments from co-workers on my hair style and color than ever before -- even the guys!
Great Salon with – New "Bottom " location is wonderful. Gives the "old-Towne" Alexandria feeling. Services have been expanded and impressive. Nice environment & great people. Big plus; parking available -no hassles. Going to these folks since the 80's and been traveling from Virginia Beach for their sevices since 1995. That should tell you something! New "Beauty Bus" mobile salon great for the special events.
