The hair thing is always such an issue, isn't it? I laugh about it on a regular basis with my 4 sisters! Well- Samone is great and I would recommend her to my very picky sisters if they were in the area. I'm new to Richmond and am so pleased to have found scissors. As Samone said, my cut needs to represent my personality and she succeeded. I'm a no fuss girl, and after my run today I brushed and went! Great job, great cut, great place.

Worth the drive! – I started going to Simone based on a recommendation, and after moving to DC over a year ago, I still drive down every few weeks to have her cut my hair. Her expertise is worth it! It's easy to see that she really enjoys what she does, and she does a wonderrful job in terms of both cut and color. Awesome Men's Hair – I have been going to Simone for my hair since '88 and she never ceases to amaze me with her results. She has a great since of style and her cuts are unique to my hair not a generic "one cut fits all" that i have experience at other salons and I am still floored by her affordability. Working with a pro – Simone is a true professional. She was able to fix a sorry looking haircut from a high priced competitor in The Fan and make my hair look great. I found out that she's been cutting hair for 20 years and it shows with the quality of her work. In addition, her prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend checking her out. You won't be disappointed.

Great! – Simone was great! I have searched a long time to find someone who could give me a great cut that I can maintain myself! The highlights are great, and the cut is great. I have received many compliments on my new style. I would highly recommend Simone to all of my friends.
What a nice find – I was introduced to Simone by my former hairstylist and what a find she has turned out to be! She has a lot of knowledge and experience with hair. When I have a hair appointment I also love to check out her latest jewelry displays -- she is constantly updating her inventory. Even though she is located in the fan, parking is not a problem, and I can reach her shop in 10 mins from the business district downtown.
Awesome – Simone is great. She does an excellent job with all hair types. I had the same stylist all through high school, but when I moved to the city it took me going through 3 or 4 stylists until I found Simone, and it was a catch. Things are really affordable too!
Scissors is the place for a haircut in the fan! – After many horrible haircut experiences, I stumbled upon Scissors on Strawberry Street. Simone was patient and willing to offer new suggestions for my hair color and style. I've never had a color that fits me so well as the one she suggested, and I have gotten many a compliment due to her expertise. Go to Scissors before you go anywhere else in the fan area!
