I came our apt five days, everyone is very nice
The internet at the lobby irritates a lot. Whenever we try using them it asks for us to check in. Why am i suppose to check in in Facebook ? Poor standards of marketing and it has been a big pain for many of the residents as many talk about this.
IT'S GREAT IF YOU ARE YOUNG,I'HAVE LIVED HERE FOR 43 YEARS,AS OF LATE THERE ARE STRANGE LIGHT'S IN MY BATHROOM THAT NO ONE WILL CHECK ON, MY STUFF HAS BEEN PACKED FOR EIGHTEEN MO, I'M NEXT DOOR TO THE BUILDERS CARE TAKERS,AND LIGHT COME ON IN MY BATHROOM AT WILL.
Its been good so far. Maintenance handles issues timely. Staff is friendly. Location is good. People that live here seem nice. So far, so good.
The concierge service goes beyond any other building in which I have lived. I have lived here for almost 5 years with three different management companies. SCIO is the most service oriented. When I was hit with a bad cold, Marta, a lifer (slang for lifetime employee) at SCIO offered to get me chicken noodle soup. Even a building maintenance guy offered to fix a lamp when I asked him about my newly purchased broken lamp. It seems that every employee of SCIO is sincere and authentic. That's almost an impossible achievement.
Management has made so many improvements at Scio over the last few years and it only gets better. Living in Chicago can be really expensive but Scio has spacious floor plans and beautifully remodeled apartments at a great rate. Anyone looking in this area should definitely check it out!
SCIO at the Medical District has a 3.3 star rating with 286 reviews.
