I highly recommend Dr Schuhknecht. He took his time with me. He answers all the questions I had. Made me feel important. . Had about my condition. Didh everything he could to make me. As comfortable as possible before and after surgery. . Did great job on my surgery. Professional yet also very personable.
I had a hernia operation no pain it went very smoothly I would highly recommend dr. schuhknecht

I have never been to a doctor who is genuinely cares about me and how I feel about my health care. He takes the time to listen and "hear" me. I had Bariatric surgery in 2003 and due to some poor choices on my part I have put some of the weight on and he and his team have helped be get my life back on track.
I have nothing but praise for the care given to me by Dr Schuhknecht, He is a very skilled surgeon and Lakeland Healthcare is lucky to him on their staff. He explains everything to you in terms easily understood. I have been seeing him for more than a year after my Bariatric surgery, follow up care has been excellent. Great Doctor.
Dr. Schuhknecht is one of the most caring, genuine, and personable physicians I have ever met. He is great at explaining complex medical issues in ways that normal people understand. He is straightforward and won't give you the runaround when you have questions for him. If you are looking for a great Bariatric/General Surgeon, look no further than Dr. Schuhknect - he will not disappoint.
