Easy to talk with and very helpful in explaining so I could understand. He is down to earth and compassionate. Would highly recommended Dr. Schuhknecht to anyone. The office staff is friendly and treat me as though they have known me for years. (Which they have not). Very happy with the care I have received from this dr and office staff.
The surgery went well and the recovery has been phenomenal-pain free! Dr. Schuhknecht is friendly and very easy to understand when he explains what to expect post surgery.
Dr. Schuhnecht is awesome! I trust, respect and like him. Not only is he a very good surgeon and Doctor he is also very good at explaining and answering questions. He can do all of it while making me feel like I’m family.
Very professional in pre- & postoperative surgery & followup care
Dr Schuhknecht recently performed gastric sleeve surgery on me. It went very well. Based upon info received from another who previously had the surgery in another state, I anticipated pain for the first few days following surgery, I virtually had none. I appreciate Dr Schuhknecht because he willing spends time listening, answers questions, and explains things in common sense terms.
I have been a patient of Dr. Schuhknecht for almost eight years. Dr. Schuhknect has helped me achieve my weightloss goal that I was not able to do by myself. Michael and his staff are the most caring team that I have ever met, and I would highly recommend Dr. Schuhknect to anyone that is considering having him perform a surgery. He continues to exceed my expectations, and it would be impossible for anyone to care more for their patients than Dr. Michael Schuhknecht!!!

In a figure from 1-5 ..Highly satisfied with a score of 5 , I feel he was very attentive before and after surgery and was able to answer any questions we had he was also very thorough with both post op and pre op
