RecommendedHospital has improved 100% in last few years. They will never be like IU, but they do take good care of you. Very caring nursing staff. E.R. staff is suburb. My husband myself have both been there many times for spinal injections and nerve blocks. All the nurses in pre op. are on first name basis with us.
We were in yesterday. Our 3 year old daughter had been running a fever for just shy of 48 hrs. with a dry cough and complaining of a soar throat. Nothing was done during our 4 hour visit. The doctor insisted that if this continued for another 3 or 4 days then we would take action. He also stated if this is not any better just call and I will prescribe you an antibiotic. RecommendedI went into er on Jan 25 for abdominal pain and fever.The doctor on duty checked me over , called in the surgeon on call Dr Nearing and i had emergency surgery to remove my gaulblatter that had died.This clearly SA ved my life .Thank you Schmuck and your wonderful staff.I would reccomend them to everyone.
took my daughter in last night to get some stitches. the dr came in bent her finger asked a series of questions then says well no stitches needed just needs cleaned and dressed? keep in mind it was a very deep cut and took a good 40 min to get to stop bleeding. nurse came in didnt even clean it just slapped some ointment on it and wrapped it up. this is just a bandaid station and I will use bedfords hospital next time instead of wasting my time with these drs.

RecommendedWe (my family and I) love Schneck Medical center! I grew up in Seymour and now live 50 minutes away- but I still CHOOSE Schneck! We just had our 3rd baby at Schneck 5 days ago! Always great compassionate care!
