My son was admitted through the emergency room ...... we live three hours away & this little jaunt was most unexpected ...... the staff at Schneck Medical Center are the most professional staff around. The care they gave my son was way over & above what was required. An extremely superb facility & staff. I would recommend this facility to anyone that's willing to listen!!!!
I spent a few days here last week and it was truly the most amazing care I have ever received in a medical facility. When I left home to go to a doctor's appointment I had no idea that I would end up hospitalized. Everyone from the ER to all my doctors and nurses on 3R were amazing. I felt like everyone cared about ME as a person, not just a "patient" they had to take care of. They explained everything that was happening to me. After having a regular mammogram the X-ray showed a mass. Upon further review it was determined that I had a mass that needed a biopsy. The staff worked me in, took the extra time to explain everything they were going to do. The mass the X-ray found was cancerous and the teams they have in place worked diligently together to schedule all my appointments. My daughter was born here and I've always come here when my family has needed to go to the ER. Always fast, wonder service. The staff is great and very empathetic.

This place is a joke. Hospitals are suppose to be safe places. I've been coming here every night after work at 5a.m. and sitting in the waiting room for only 2 hours, on my phone not bothering anyone. Killing time before I have to pick my husband up from work. So that I don't have to sit in my car freezing to death. I live in scottsburg so why would I waste gas to go home, just to drive back in two hours. I was taken to SCHENCK HOSPITAL CENTER (ER) this passed Friday night and admitted stay tell Sunday. This a GREAT HOSPITAL. The Doctors, Nurses, and Staff were very polite to me , and My Wife. They took VERY VERY GOOD CARE of My needs. The Rating goes to a (five) I give them a (TEN). THANKS TO EVERYONE.
The best house doctors ever. Dr Towriss is awesome!!
