Very satisfied with the customer service and the work of our technician (Jose). Jose was courteous, professional, and he did an excellent job of explaining our HVAC issue. Overall outstanding service call!
Fast service/great techs
We had a problem with our A/C unit. Schmidt sent James out who identified all the factors working together to increase the humidity within our house. He corrected all issues, programmed the computer to prevent future issues, spent the time teaching us. House decreased humidity by 10% before he left! James was extremely knowledgeable and courteous as well as personable. We our happy we chose Schmidt and know they have our backs if we have A/C issues. Thank you Schmidt Mechanical!

Schmidt Mechanical was very professional and did an awesome job. I had been without AC for 3&1/2 weeks due to another AC company giving me the run-around as well as unprofessional and unreliable service. Absolutely atrocious customer service. Had them do an evaluation a week ago with home warranty company a week ago and problem identified. Now a week later no communication from the company regarding status, repair request still not filed with home warranty company, office staff clueless on the status of the repair, and still without air conditioning in 100'F San Antonio heat for now 2 weeks. Look elsewhere for quality customer service.
I've been using Schmidt Mechanical for a year and they seem pretty competent and honest. Their annual maintenance plan is a pretty good deal, $79 for two check-ups. Jose did my last A/C maintenance. He found a burnt-out capacitor and gave me several options for replacing it without being pushy. I told him I was thinking about replacing the whole system, and he gave me some information about that, too. He was very neat, polite, and respectful.
