Went above and beyond my expectations – Chris, Elizabeth, and Nate all went out of their way to make sure the issues I had experienced were corrected and my experience went perfectly. They went above and beyond my expectations and I thank them for the personal attention.
Overall great experience – I was very appreciative that the model I wanted was located for me in Chicago and was delivered within 3 days. This was great since my prior vehicle was totalled, and I had a rental until Tuesday. The saleman ensured that I got my new vehicle on Tuesday so I would have a car to drive.

Family owned car dealership – The reason for recommending is that it is family owned. Depending on the service consultant, I have received, over the years, exceptional service and average service. I've been quite happy with the service received. I bought the car at Schmelz as well. It is likely that the next ar I will buy in a few years will be a VW as well.

My wife and I visited Schmelz Countryside Volkswagon to learn more about Volkswagons. I had an interest in a well build, safe, and efficient car. We were treated with respect. Our salesman worked with us through multiple test drives. The paperwork was handled efficiently and smoothly and we ended up with a plan we can afford and a car we love. They also followed up with phone calls to make sure everything was still going will with the new car. We would recommend this dealership to other people in the market for a new car.
