A BBQ place with white sauce was wheat-free option! We got our food quickly, and it was AMAZING! I had one of the baked potatoes, my daughter had a BBQ chicken plate, and my husband had a regular pulled pork BBQ sandwich. By far the best food we had during our weekend stay in Birmingham.

Every single item was prepared expertly from the tender and tangy pulled pork to the juicy white sauce covered chicken to the luscious cheese grits topped with spicy Cajun shrimp! The side items were equally impressive and made you feel like you stepped into a kitchen that was a combination of grandma’s home cooking and a world champion bbq master! Thank you Saw’s for blowing my socks off yet again!
RecommendedOur waitress at another local restaurant Recommended Saw’s when we asked about great local BBQ. So glad she did! Other than the over abundance of Bama decor for this Clemson gal, it was practically perfect! Has the trifecta- great BBQ, sides and dessert! We will be coming back when visiting BHAM to visit our daughter again!
First time here today, everything I tried was very good and will be back when we come again!
Food was incredible, but unfortunately the cashier/waitress was super unfriendly. Barely said a word in response when I asked questions, appeared to really not want to be there. Looking at other reviews, seems that it’s not an uncommon experience. Too bad!
