Our second location, conveniently located just north of Crabtree mall in the Pleasant Valley Promenade shopping center, is now open for lunch and dinner everyday. Our second restaurant is much bigger, featuring private party rooms and full bar; however our mission remains the same - that is to make your every visit to our restaurant a satisfying experience. Despite the huge footage of over 7,000 sq ft, our 2nd location is still as cozy as Sawasdee has always been known for, and better yet, we have something for everyone at t... read more

Great curries and tom kha, try the evil jungle noodles – We've been several times and have a great experience each time. Each dish we've tried has been great, I am partial to the "Evil Jungle Noodles." The tom kha soup is also quite good. Staff is very attentive and despite the size of the restaurant, we've never had to wait for a seat.
Great food, great service, what else could you want? – Having a passion for Thai food, this place was a real find. The food was EXCELLENT, the service was even better.
Best thai in town! – Large vegetarian/vegan selection, excellent service, and a neat artsy atmosphere. The weekends usually require a wait, but it's always worth it.
Best Thai in NC – This is the best Thai food I've had in the state of NC. First of all, the staff is very polite and will make sure you have everything you need and that you're satisfied. Also, the food is delicious. It's fresh and very tasty. It can be made mild or spicy for those of us who love kick! It's a small place, so not good for groups. It can be a nice place for a date, however. It's hard to find - it's on Capital Blvd. across from Chucky Cheese.
I drive pass many Thai restaurants to Sawasdee. It's on Capital and Old Buffalo near Chuck E Cheese. I love it.
Nice service but overpriced – This place is cozy with good staffs. However, we were expecting more reasonable price for Thai food.
Great Experience – The Pad Prik Kra Paw was wonderful. The staff was very helful. The entire experience was a delight. I can not wait to go back soon. Lunch is between 1130 and 2 pm and they are open late until 9PM.
Wonderful dining experience – We selected this restaurant because of the high customer reviews and high Health Dept. scores. Excellent, excellent food; can't say enough about it. Very patient servers who explained what the dishes were. My husband and I are not adventurous eaters the first time out; we both had Pad Thai. It was fantastic, very fresh tasting, a ton of chicken in it, and very high quality chicken, no fat, gristle, etc. Large portions. I can't remember what my daughter had, she is more adventurous, but it was de... read more
Sooooooooo good! – My boyfriend and I had the most amazing dinner here. The service was some of the best I have ever had. The waitress was so patient with our questions. My boyfriend likes really spicy food but can never find anyone to make it spicy enough. He requested spicy here and had to stop to wipe his eyes during dinner. I asked for mine regular and it was just perfect. Please give this place a try. Fantastic!!!!!!!!
