Food is good, but it's breakfast...not a steak dinner. I had one blueberry pancake, my daughter had 2 regular pancakes, 2 coffees and we shared a side of bacon and a side of grits. Took home a cinnamon roll. Before tip, this meal was just over $30.00! $20 would have been fair. Unnecessarily high prices. Happily, Tally's will be opening nearby soon.
My rating is in regards to the prices. They are ridiculously expensive. And I do mean ridiculous. Pancakes, coffee, side of bacon, and side of grits for over $37. For the cost of a side of bacon I could buy a whole pound at the store (and yeah, I realize I could choose to go the store, blah, blah, blah. That doesn't justify ripping people off just because they decided to eat out one weekend). Don't get me wrong, the food is good here. But it isn't THAT good.
Great food and staff is wonderful. Our first trip there was perfect! Plan on going back.
