Following their American dream, Sicilians Teresa and Michael Petrantoni immigrated to New York in the late 1920s and established Savoia Pastry Shoppe, smack in the heart of Rochester's Italian neighborhood. Over the years this pastry heaven has evolved from serving traditional Italian goodies like cannolis and cookies to offering French bread, cheesecake, pies and pizzas. Its delicious pastries make it a favorite of both locals and tourists.

We drive almost 90 minutes one way to visit this shop multiple times throughout the year. Their Italian cookies are the greatest. Their customer service is above par as we always feel like they remember us with each visit.
The best cookies. Wish I still lived in Rochester so I could get them whenever I want. Now I only get them when I visit or someone comes to Florida to visit me.
