Following their American dream, Sicilians Teresa and Michael Petrantoni immigrated to New York in the late 1920s and established Savoia Pastry Shoppe, smack in the heart of Rochester's Italian neighborhood. Over the years this pastry heaven has evolved from serving traditional Italian goodies like cannolis and cookies to offering French bread, cheesecake, pies and pizzas. Its delicious pastries make it a favorite of both locals and tourists.

I had something called a rum baba and it was the best pastry I’ve ever had. But was there Rum in the filling too. What was in that filling it was so good

Savoia’s made my daughter’s beautiful wedding cake last weekend and it was perfection! Our guests are still talking about what a stunning cake it was. And it tasted as good as it looked - especially the chocolate with raspberry filling! The cookie tray was also so good! So happy we chose Savoia’s!

Savoia's recently made an exquisite cake for my parent's 50th Anniversary celebration at a very reasonable price. They also created a custom cookie tray that was delightful. You can't beat the aroma when you step thru the doors and the nostalgia of family traditions, especially at the holidays. So lucky to have this Italian bakery in my backyard! Love to support our local businesses who can provide specialized products.
