Following their American dream, Sicilians Teresa and Michael Petrantoni immigrated to New York in the late 1920s and established Savoia Pastry Shoppe, smack in the heart of Rochester's Italian neighborhood. Over the years this pastry heaven has evolved from serving traditional Italian goodies like cannolis and cookies to offering French bread, cheesecake, pies and pizzas. Its delicious pastries make it a favorite of both locals and tourists.

They did my daughter's cake for her Sweet 16 carnival theme party, and when I say they delivered, they delivered, great customer service, patience with mom, lol, and the cake was beautiful beyond expectations, tasted great.

The original Savoia made us our wedding cake which was a altar cake with all our attendees in the proper colors,it was the first one they ever made,we have a lot of memories from Savoia
Best Italian Cookies in Rochester!
I live in Virginia but my husband grew up in Rochester. I have had many cookies and cakes over the years when visiting Rochester. I knew when I was planning my daughters shower that I wanted to add those authentic Italian cookies to our special occasion. They were fantastic and everyone was commenting on how good they were. I will order them for her wedding too! Virginia does not have anything that could come close to Savoia’s baked goods. I have been a fan for 40 years strong! Thank you.
They did our wedding cake and I was IN LOVE!!!! It was so beautiful and tasted amazing!! The whole process was easy and everything went perfect the day of!
