They have the best birthday cakes in the city of Birmingham! Our office celebrates every employees birthday by Always buying a Savages Cake, it’s tradition...like football and Roll Tide Roll. Truly it’s where Legends are Made & no matter what you just pick out from the counter, it’s going to be above and beyond delicious 😋
I truly do love Savages Bakery. I’ve been going here since I was very young. The pastries and customer care is wonderful. However, tragically, it would be a wonderful courtesy if they would notify their patrons that they have been having someone hack their credit card machines and give customers the option of paying with cash or taking a chance with paying with a card. I’m heart broken that nobody notified me of this BEFORE I paid. Love the food, HATE the situation that I was not made aware of. 💔
Not going to rant or bash, just a quick opinion. I received a surprise cake for my birthday from Savages recently. I was let down and so was the individual who ordered/picked up the cake. I appreciate the effort of the person who ordered it as a surprise, but the cake, taste and appearance wise, was sadly not recommendable.

Today I purchased their chicken salad(I bought the plate for 6.95 and it was just what it said a small scoop so I decided to purchase the 4.95 size to snack on all day and the chicken salad was awful. The price that I paid was not worth it at all. I had never eaten lunch there before and I will never again. I will stick with the deserts from now on!
