Actually I don't see what all the hype is about. The Pizza was average at best and the home made Sodas (The Rootbeer) wasn't good at all, it tasted like a Dum Dum Sucker. The Service was great and the best part of the visit.

That's funny, it seems a lot of the excitement I've seen over the root beer is exactly that old time dum dum flavor that you dislike. It's objective, judging these things... Sorry you didn't like the pie, could be you got a bad one. But I'm so happy to see you liked the service. I am working hard on this part lately because there are so many parts we have to get right. Great Pizza! Cool atmosphere. Servers were attentive, and friendly. Trips are usually campy-centric, still ... Not sure how I've managed to never eat here before yesterday. Definitely a must stop for all of our future frequent visits to UF.

My In-laws said that we needed to try Satchel's when we came back to visit Florida and well yesterday they brought us to this wonderful establishment. Satchel's is right up there with some of my favorite NYC pizza places...Everything was delicious and then looking through a Viewmaster which brought me back to my kid days to read the dessert menu was the coolest.
