I went there for the first time last night, after moving back to Gainesville in January. Outstanding pizza, outstanding house salad, outstanding place. Five Stars!
We loved it!! Great pizza, delicious salad, and homemade root beer! The service was excellent and the decor so eclectic!

Cutest place to have a slice of pizza and a very tasty salad(lunch combo was the best and reasonably priced). I loved the greenhouse in the back (we are plant people),lots of nice succulents and the staff was AWESOME. We will make this a regular stop on our visits to Gainesville. It needs to be an official "Roadside America" stop. GO GATORS!!!!
Awesome food, groovy atmosphere! The salad (I think there was only one on the menu) was phenomenal!!!
Satchels is a great place to go with family or with friends. The ambience is very eclectic; the pizza is great and the service is even better. They have swings while you're waiting for a table and they also have a little play area for the kids inside while you're waiting for your food to come. Don't let the kid friendly part scare you off either. I've never been in there with any loud or misbehaving kids, I really haven't. It's just a very neat dining experience.
