Sara's by far is a fun, safe "beach" campground that is affordable! Staff, fellow campers, security has always been top notch, professional and friendly. My only "mild" complaint is that we did not receive an early reservation post card last year upon our checkout and hence leaving us scavaging for a site on April 1st. We camp here every single summer for almost 2 weeks and wouldn't trade it for anything! Thanks Sandy and Brian, keep up the great work! 😁
Spent 2 nights there with the kids from 6/12 to 6/15. Had a wondertime and it was the kid's first time to go camping and top it off on a beach. They want to return next yr! Watch out 4 those FIRE RINGS IN THE DARK!!! I fell into one twisted up like a pretzel and almost knocked my teeth out on the picnic table as I flew. I have a 7 inch sideways black n blue mark on my thigh, multiple of bruises and a bad scrape up my shin, crying, a lump on my head, a mouth full of sand and sore all over!!! We have a permanent spot and we just love it there. So much to do and great friends.
My husband and I camped at Sara's for the first time with his parents in 1983. Once we were married and got our first motor home we became regular campers at Sara's. We were always made to feel very welcome at Sara's by the owner, Brian and all at the campground. We became permanent campers in 2005. I cannot say enough good about the people and facilities here. Every single year there have been improvements made. We have many wonderful activities to participate in every week all season long!
It's a great place for family fun. Kids had a blast! Glad theirs a store right their for things u need and games and stuff for the kids to do. Great job on the shower room updates too!
We started coming here 3 1/2 years ago & find it hard to go anywhere else to camp when you've found the best! Camping in the sand with the lake at your feet, affordable pricing for families no restrictions on swimming, kayaking or other fun water activities & drinking permitted but they always make sure to keep it a family place. You feel like family when you go!
Our first trip to Presque Isle and staying at Sara's was amazing!! VERY helpful and friendly staff and the grounds and facilities are clean and well maintained!! Will definitely return soon!! Thanks for the memories!!
This was our 2nd time staying at Sara's. We love it there. It's a little cramped when the camp ground is booked fully, but either way, we still like it there a lot!! Can't wait til next time!
MY LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN! Everyone is great, staff is soooooo helpful. We go with our camper as often as possible. Have looked at other places BUT..........WE ALWAYS COME BACK TO SARA'S!!
