This was our first time. It was recommended that I arrive at 9 so we could get a tent spot on the beach. We were #8 on the waiting list and were in by 10! We had a most fabulous time. It was perfect. Neighbors were friendly, trustworthy, and fun! The only things I would change: ban smoking - the cigarette butts were disgusting (not the campground's fault, just ignorant people), and the sodium lights be turned off at 11(quiet time). We will be back!!!!
We had a blast!! It was great camping on the beach. The staff is so friendly and helpful!
What a wonderful place and staff... So friendly and the greatest sunset over Lake Erie.... I have two little girls who are heading back to school and just experienced a 3 day camping trip in your park.... stayed on the beach and met some awesome people who return every year!!! So beautiful and relaxing ... very accommodating staff..... loved loved .. we can't wait to make this trip again.. we will return to Sara's Campground!!!!! You guys ROcK
We love Sara's..no place better to stay ..everyone makes you feel at home on every visit! Thank you for all the work on the beach this year..every stay this summer was wonderful , cant wait to come back �

I have been coming to this camp ground for years and I love it to death here but the past two years the beach has had a problem with sand fleas or some sort of bug. Last year they got me so bad it looked like I had chicken pox and I had a very bad fever and my family members wanted to take me to the hospital. The bugs are just as bad as they were last year and everyone in my family is getting extremely bit up and itchy and it's just very uncomfortable.
