no wait, reasonable prices We have taken our dog to this vet twice and were able to walk right in with just a quick phone call. The Animal Medical Center in El Cajon is always at least an hour wait, and extremely expensive, probably to pay for there LCD TV's in the lobby! Is that really necessary? Anyway, this guy is good, fast, and reasonable.
Great Vets I have been seeing Dr Persky and Dr Kus with my cats and dogs for 12 years. Both are outstanding vets.
grateful I was so glad to locate Dr. Kuz when he moved to Santee Pet Hospital. My dog can't wait to enter the office & easily goes with Dr. Kuz and/or another staff member for exams, shots, etc. Last year she contracted a life threatening immune disease. I tribute her recovery to Dr. Kuz' excellent care, as well as his knowledge & experience. Overpriced and Rude I went there for years, and never had any problems except for the rude young receptionist. My dog had to have stiches, he quoted me one price and charged me double with no invoice. The receptionist called other customers I know and told them I was rude and bounced checks all over town especially when I pay with a credit card at all times. When I confronted the receptionist, she was so rude, yelling at me, and try to tell me I was the irresponsible and never paid my bills.They never apologize for the sland... read more
always a positive experience We have always had extremely good service at Santee Pet. In fact, even after moving over 20 minutes away, we continue to bring our dogs there. The doctor is always caring, and the support staff is helpful. Prices are reasonable, and we know we count on them in an emergency!
Wonderful Vet I have been taking my dogs and cats to Dr. Kus for many years. He has always been incredibly caring with all my pets, especially my special needs kitty Fast Eddie. Dr. Kus also keeps very updated on research in his field in order to best diagnose difficult problems as well as to be very informative. I have recommended him to many friends and have no reservations giving him a five star rating.
Dr. Kus is the Best! We have been taking our dog to Dr. Kus for years. He used to be in San Carlos and we followed him to Santee because he is the best, most caring, and resourceful vet we have ever had the pleasure of going to. Life-saver many times over I have been going to Santee Pet Hospetal for 10 years and have found them caring and professional without charging an arm and leg to help sick animals. I have only been able to continue rescue because of their prices and help. This vet comes in on weekends and holidays to serve the community. For many years he didn't charge what other vets around San Diego did, and was very under priced. Office visits and stool checks were free for a very long time. I just hope to god he doesn't retire!
Best vet ever! Dr. Kus is a very knowledgeable, caring and gentle vet. My pets could not have received better care anywhere. I recently moved quite a distance from his practice, but I will happily drive the 60 miles.
