Santee Pet Hospital is a caring place! Dr.Zeicu has always been extremely caring toward our pets. It says a lot about a vet who really takes the time to gently talk to an animal to put them at ease, His surgeries are the best we've seen, with minimal recup time and quick healing. The prices are comparable or a little less than other vets. The only thing that would be helpful is to get a receipt for services rendered, so clients would have a record of vaccinations, etc. that were done.
prices way to high Had been useing this Vet for years and had friends and neighbor quit going there for different reasons. My last experience with this Vet caught me off guard. My Golden Retrievers ear had a large bubble on it which i new what it was cause this same thing happened two years ago. So i left my dog this time at the Vet to have him fix her and when i picked her up her bill was three times what i had paid the previous time. santee pet hospital review we've taken my pet to this hospital a few times and we love the service and cost. its so fast and easy and we come out of there in a jiffy. yeah its not the best hospital in the world but it works for my pets needs.
Class A vet I read the reviews of other pet owners and think that some of them must be posting on the wrong site. Dr. Pavel has been our vet for over 20 years, while the receptionists have sometimes been a little rude I have never had bad service there. Dr. Pavel won't try to talk you into saving an animal that does not have a good quality of life in front of it and he won't tack on needless procedures or medications. Dr. Kus is the BEST! I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Kus. I have taken my Pit Bull to over 10 vets in San Diego and he is the first vet to properly diagnose her. I love Dr. Kus because he genuinely cares about my pets. Dr. Kus is very conservative in their treatment. Other vets would push surgeries, treatments and medications when there may be less expensive/less painful options. Dr. Kus isn't pushy and truly wants the best for your pets. Recommended I highly recommend this vet if you happen to live in the area. The employees are friendly and the veterinarian is knowledgable and likes animals. It is somewhat expensive, but they do not seem to be out to gouge you for money. Unfortunately, this vet isn't the most advanced in terms of technology and treatments. For example, it has no antivenom. If your dog is bit by a snake, you must take them elsewhere. The vet can be contacted 24/7 in case of emergencies. catlover To the person who wrote the last offensive remark, Dr Zeicu, the prior vet at Santee Pet Hospital, passed away unexpectedly in December. Dr Zeicu was on duty 365 days a year, including Sundays and holidays, until his unfortunate passing. The staff at SPH got a new vet on board ASAP - HAVE A HEART!

I have used Dr. Kus for many pets over the course of many years. I will happily follow him to any veterinary hospital he chooses. Really Nice Doctor, Open 7 days a week This isn't the most high tech Vet. They don't even have computers. I have been very happy with my experiences here. One time the doctor only charged me for the medicine and not the examination. Great place to go for fast and basic Veterinary care.
