Philadelphia style cuisine. I'm talkin' old school 1950's cheesesteaks. Don't expect to find us using cheese whiz. We use fresh Ribeye steak sliced in house along with a white Swiss blend American cheese, and your choice of sauteed veggies (mushrooms, onions, peppers). All topped off with our homemade gravy (marinara sauce). Absolutely LOVE this restaurant. Most incredible cheese steak I've ever had in my life (especially with mushrooms)! The fries are delicious; the soups are amazing. This shop is the 'real deal.' Plus, the owner and family are so welcoming and friendly.... and cook insanely good food. Seriously one of my all time favorite restaurants. I used to eat soft weekly at the Isla Vista location but have since moved to Texas. Now I make a point to driving the hour up the coast to visit everytime I'm back in Cali.
