First time at Sankofa. Very cool vibe. Loved the books and the food options are great. I had salmon and pesto �. Live long and prosper.

Sankofa is definitely the place to be to get ALL of your reading done and purchasing of books!! The atmosphere is inviting and the staff are most gracious!!

Visited with my Daughter (who's a regular there that they show lots of love) in August...wonderfully cozy...very warm & welcoming...exactly what every Black community needs...Howard Students are very blessed to have this sanctuary...the ambiance...food & hospitality was amazing...can't wait to go back...
This place is awesome! The energy and vibe was so welcoming. It felt like a second home. The books selection is plentiful, the food was great, the coffee was excellent and the people friendly. I'll be back, for sure!
