I used to love this program - it has gone so far downhill, I'm not sure I can call it a legitimate PHP program. HIPAA violations that weren't taken seriously. Little to no group engagement. Half or more of the group was always asleep, physically absent, or on their phones. I brought up my concerns - the therapists agreed but recommended I just find a new program rather than make changes. We rarely did any actual emotional processing in group. Would not recommend to anyone who is serious about improving their mental health.

Parents, do your research. We hired a consultant who recommended this place. This was the worst choice we could have made for our 14 year old daughter. She was sent there under the "dual diagnosis" and did not get proper help or counseling. She was placed in a dingy room in front of a computer under the guise of "School." The kids posted videos of themselves or sent videos to other friends (Hippa Violation). I spent so much time talking to an amazing employee named Jade. She seemed like a therapist because she was so good at her job. She literally explained everything patiently. She literally Helped me in so many ways personally that I didn't expect. I'm excited and motivated about being a new patient at this facility. I was referred by a good.

My son did substance of each program last year and found that to be helpful. We started the mental health program this month. The major issue I have with sandstone is their administrative section out of Denver. They constantly quote the wrong information about the Rockville location, including operating hours, and what to expect on the first day, etc. It’s stressful enough to have your child going through a mental health crisis, the added stresses dealing with the administration and logistics of getting into the program. I had a phenomenal experience at the Sandstone care alumni event. LeJeffrey Monica was a phenomenal program co-ordinator. She made some insightful remarks. She was really sweet and understanding. She, even, stayed with me while I waited for my ride to come, which I thought was really sweet and i really appreciated it. I had alot of fun doing Pearlers while chit-chatting with other alumni.
