The physicians who have seen my mother have been excellent. However, the wait times are often ridiculous. For an upcoming visit for my mother who is in her 90s, I overheard the schedulers say to just squeeze her in, even though there would probably be a 4 to 5 hour wait time. When I asked the scheduler about that, she was silent, and I said I guess I wasn't supposed to have heard that. She acknowledged that there could be that kind of wait time. This clinic has some significant insurance company issues. I had a doctor appointment for over a month, by referral, and upon entering was told, there was no referral. Then I was requested to pay out of pocket. The entire issue at hand is stupid. If you need my insurance information, why not verify that when we spoke a month earlier?
