The doctors and medical assistants are friendly and they explain what they are doing. The billing part of this office is not so good. They charged an exam for glasses to my medical insurance instead of my vision insurance and now I owe for a procedure that would be completely covered under my vision insurance. Trying for over two months to get them to file that claim correctly and they seem to ignore emails and calls.
They checked in a later appointment before my appointment even though I was on time. I asked if I would be seen first at my appointed time. They stated they would but they did not. I spoke with office manager. She stated they will see other people if they are early. I stated I specifically have the first appointment of the day to be seen first. The physicians who have seen my mother have been excellent. However, the wait times are often ridiculous. For an upcoming visit for my mother who is in her 90s, I overheard the schedulers say to just squeeze her in, even though there would probably be a 4 to 5 hour wait time. When I asked the scheduler about that, she was silent, and I said I guess I wasn't supposed to have heard that. She acknowledged that there could be that kind of wait time. Team at the Eye Center were very efficient and thorough. They took all precautions for safety. It was clear that they were patient with the older patients. And took great care of myself and others.
Nice staff. Not a long wait. The bed side manners of Dr. Ming are excellent. Takes time to explain.
