The doctor I saw at this business was very helpful; however, it has been a nightmare in dealing with this company. I was required to pay $2000 out of pocket in order to schedule my surgery. By the time my surgery appointment arrived, I had already met the out of pocket *** on my health insurance, and my insurance covered the procedure in full. If you have eye problems, please don't go to them. I have severe glaucoma that ******************************* never diagnosed, but the *********** diagnosed it on my first visit. Now I'm hoping I won't go blind. Another complaint is that I was told I needed a yag procedure, but Mayo said I didn't. Finally, I had an expensive procedure, and Mayo said the doctors should have known that it wasn't going to be successful with my eye history. Please don't see them.

I have never dealt with such rude people as I've had to deal with at Minnesota Eye Consultants. I was going to have eye surgery - (cataract surgery) with ****************. When I called them after my original evaluation and scheduled surgery, I wanted to get clarification as to what they were going to do with each eye. They over book appointments and expect you to wait, no customer service or return calls, can’t trust them
I paid Minnesota Eye consultants thousands of dollars about 5 years ago for my daughter to have lasik surgery. Over the last year her vision had been getting progressively worse. She is back in Minnesota so I encouraged her to call minnesota eye consultants so they could check their work. Unfortunately they told her when she got to the office they would not even do an eye exam unless she paid $275 up front or agreed that if her insurance didn’t pay she would pay the $275 AND A 10% PENALTY! when all other eye specialists seem to let me down around the twin cities Dr. Fahmy has always gone above and beyond in my eye care. I just wanted him to get the recognition he deserves. Thank you doctor Fahmy for all you have done for me. 😊
