Just finished the cataract surgery with the $4,800 special lens. I was not sure what to expect from my vision and I repeatedly asked if some kind of gauge could be used to help me tell how much my vision was approved, if improved at all. I still see halos around the street lights and I do have to hold the newspaper at a distance in order to make out the words. My eyes are now outdoor light sensitive which may improve with time.
