Just drove into Bakersfield, CA from Henderson, NV & my friend wanted pulled pork so went here & it was so worth it. Service was fast & the young man waiting on me was so nice. Food was very good. If I go back to Bako I would go get BBQ again. The brisket, ribs & tri tip was very good also.
Amazing food! Definitely stopping there everytime we're in town!
Disappointed. Paid almost $100 for sampler and extras and didn't get the 1/2 chicken.
Loved how fun it was to come into the train to order and the cozy atmosphere. The patio is gorgeous and inviting. The food was delicious!!! We all left full and happy!
Food is delicious, best BBQ in town. Always a positive experience, even if they make mistakes because they go above and beyond to correct them. I keep coming back here whenever I crave BBQ, and I am never disappointed!
Had the Salty's Special.....just as good as advertised! Beans as a side was also a good choice - will be back for sure.

Very disappointed. Tried calling starting around 5pm this evening. A busy tone was what I got the whole time until I arrived at 5:30. Waited in line for 20 in minutes after numerous stops to have phone orders take priority(which would have been nice for me if your phones worked). Finally get to order and disappointed because you were out of items that we wanted. Take the order and get to my destination to find out I have no BBQ sauce after specifically asking the gal at the window. I was told everything was inside the boxes.... read more
