We always have a great meal at Saltgrass. The wait staff is really good too.
Service was great....just don't like being set by the kitchen and listening to the noise.....and our steak was dry.....
Food was excellent. Our waiter Steven was the best.
My family is a big fan of Saltgrass Steakhouse. However, we've never had as poor service as we did tonight. I made a reservation and we were seated right away which was great, but that was where the greatness ended. We sat and waited a good 10 minutes for water followed by appetizers that were supposed to be hot, but at the very best, lukewarm. After finishing our entrees, which were really good, we sat for another 15 minutes looking for someone to bring our bill.
Me and the hubby have started a little tradition by celebrating our Anniversary at Saltgrass Katy, the food and drinks was very good.The service was awesome, it was a busy night but we didn't have to wait at all for anything.
Salt grass has been our "Go To" steak place since they opened in Katy. We walked out tonight. We were seated right away and then waited 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge our presence. They were busy but not full and they had a ton of waitstaff whizzing around but no one stopped long enough to tell us that they were coming. I'll be a regular for the Early Bird Special 4-6 PM Mon-Fri. My filet was perfectly seasoned and cooked med rare the way I like it. Awesome Caesar Salad and baked potato and all this for under $20. I felt so bad about the great deal that I ordered a big piece of cheese cake to go. (That's my story and I'm stick'n to it)
Horrible service this evening! We were told there was a wait of 30 mins and walked out after waiting AN HOUR! And mind you, the restaurant was not even half full! The hostess and the managers need to be more aware, and be trained better on customer service. We walked out and went to outback. With us, there were several people walking out frustrated as well. General manager needs to take action!
For what ever reason they never can get m our steaks grilled write. So then you send it back and they try to make it right by grilling the same steak and they make it worse. By then everyone is done eating. Now my evening went bad.
