Best Stylist on the Square – John has been cutting & coloring my hair for over 4 1/2 years and he is absolutely brilliant. He always takes time to listen to my ideas and then comes up with some new creative idea of his own. I would never trust anyone else to hi-light my hair. There is no one out there that does it quite like the way he does. Salon Thalia is absolutely gorgeous... very spacious and upscale with out being over priced. I only wish that there were nail services available. It would make things much easier.
Love this place – I have been going to Salon Thalia for 2 years now. I love it! I go see Carolyn every time and she does an amazing job. I actually have an appointment today. I have long brown hair and she is the first person I have trusted to really styling my look. She cuts long hair amazing and is an absolute pro at highlights and lowlights. Eh... – Honestly, I was really excited to try out Salon Thalia, but I got a VERY average facial there... really not worth it.
Only Place I Go – i have been going to salon thalia for about a year now and i love it... Maria is the best. I completely trust her with my hair. i started out just getting cuts until i destroyed my hair with box dye i went light brown to red to dark chocolate in one month... i called up she found the time to fit me in and brought my hair from dark chocolate to med brown. she made it look completely natural. she also suggested that my hair needed to be cut cuz of my severe dead ends. but because i told her i love my long hai... read more
Great service. Horrible haircut – I went there a while ago. Reading all this good reviews online. I admit that they had a great service. Very Professional. It looked nice and all.. but the haircut that i got was terrible. i went back to my hold hair saloon and fixed it after two days. They have a great management. and i know that they are going to write after this review. That i could have gone back and they would fix it for me. But i dont care. Amazing salon! – Last evening I had my first appointment at Salon Thalia with Katie for a full highlight and cut. Let me begin by saying she was so sweet and LISTENED to me- I have never had any stylist take as much time to make sure she understood what I wanted color-wise, and took her time cutting and styling my hair (for ex. she put the dryer down a few times to snip at a few pieces to make sure they were right). Loved my Facial with Alissa – I feel like everyone should know about the best kept secret in Philly...Alissa at Salon Thalia is awesome! I had a facial last week and it was one of the best I ever had. I thought that my last esthetician was great but after seeing Alissa I dont think Ill ever go back to her!! Not only does my skin look fantastic but she gave me a lot of advise on home care without being too pushy and the hand and arm massage was so relaxing. schedule now an appointment with travis! – i moved to philadelphia a few years ago and only found travis five months ago. first stylist that could do a great cut AND great color. such a find. i had been to two other salons very close to thalia and felt frustrated every month - sometimes good color, sometimes good cut but never both good. not only is travis very talented but he's fun to visit and laugh with - makes the time fly, and i feel so great when i leave looking the way i want to look :).
Fantastic salon and stylist: Travis – I have been meaning to write this review for over a month now - I visited Salon Thalia on October 24th and got a cut from Travis. My hair looks excellent - every time I blowdry it, I'm surprised by how well the cut has kept up (including the side-swept bangs, which Travis volunteered to trim between cuts for free).
