The food is delicious and the price is cheap, love this place!
I've been coming to Sally Bell's for many years and for the first time I was disappointed! I ordered my favorite boxed lunch and got neither of my choices! I was soooo excited as I drove down I-64 heading home to bite into my chicken salad on that delicious homemade roll.... alas, it was tuna and my macaroni salad was potato salad! Even my pineapple cupcake was replaced with another flavor... good but not pineapple! I'll be back but I'll check my box before I leave!
Been a customer for about 60 of their 90 years. Food is always 5-Star. Service is usually slow and surly. At the former location, one could time a visit for better service. This is no longer an option since items will have likely run out. A RVA treasure in a good and attractive venue should be able to figure out the necessity for good onsite delivery of their offerings. Ask for professional guidance. Use up to date systems to sell your amazing old-fashioned delectables!!
Good food but please speed up the service...waited 30 minutes for my food after ordering. Also, I don't like how the paper sticks to the cupcake icing so when you unwrap it all the icing sticks to the paper. Sloppy and unappealing. Good luck though as your food is very good.
Sally Bells is an institution in the Richmond area. It's the only place that my mom would purchase potatoe salad from. She was known for hers and only approved of the deliciousness that is found at Sally Bells. I also just discovered the lemon curd filled, slightly powder sugar dusted cupcakes!!! Yummo!!! So glad you are just moving. Can't wait to see the new location. Love � you guys.
