First timer out West! – My first trip out West, we drove from Michigan the first place we stayed was Salish. I felt like a Royal the way they treated us. The people that work there are so friendly. The wood burning fireplace in your room with all the wood you desire was a plus. This was the first place I had ever stayed where I actually wanted to buy the bedding and take it home. It was more comfortable then my own bed. The room service is a little pricy but worth it. Don't miss the falls and walk all the way down to the bot... read more
Wonderful! – Beautiful lodge and spa...planning on having my wedding here! :)
Dreamy – My husband proposed to me at the Salish Lodge and then we had dinner in the restaurant to celebrate our engagement. It was the most romantic evening ever !!! Just dreamy !!!
Very Nice! – I really like this spa! You feel like you are on vacation as soon as you walk through the door. The employees really know what they are doing and are highly skilled. I felt relaxed and pampered the entire time. I think it's worth the drive and really not that far if you live on the eastside.
The Total Escape – The total escape and total experience!! A beautiful drive, a peaceful setting and the most wonderful spa experience ever! All the amenities and staff persons with incredible atmosphere, experience and one truly feels they have escaped to an exotic place.....Highly recommended for a total escape!!
Salish you are special – Wood burning fireplaces! Dining room absolutely wonderful. Spa is so relaxing and unbelievable atmosphere

What a big mistake. We took a couple of friends from back east to Sunday breakfast at the lodge in August of 2002. Although the service and ambiance were above average, the food was mediocre at best. There were 4 of us and we each ordered a different dish plus an order of french toast for the entire table to share. It was a real disappoint... read more
Outstanding – When my husband and I went to eat breakfast at the Salish Lodge we were so pleased! The breakfast was so delicious. It was so nice. We were treated very special and had fast service.
No new tradition to start here! – On our 1st anniversay we wanted to start a new tradition. Not with the service recieved at the Salish! Seated 10 minutes after arriving promptly for our reservation & handed a wine list, we sat for 15 minutes without any acknowledgement from ANYONE to even say that SOMEONE would be right with us. Finally I flagged the hostess down to see if anyone could take our order. When our wine finally came the waiter was always "just a little late" to refill our glass when needed. Luckily the food was ... read more
