This extravagantly cushy getaway lodge in the Cascade foothills is all about wood, water and warmth. – The Scene While the Snoqualmie River plummets 268 feet over its namesake falls, guests at the Salish Lodge lounge in a warm, waterfall-splashed pool. Fir, cedar and stone accent the decor and historic Asahel Curtis photos line the library walls; you'd be hard-pressed to find a more relaxing, indulgent environment. If Puritan guilt drives you to work off calories accumulated in the restaurant, try the memorably steep 20-minu... read more
impressive, but way too pricey for what you get – i'm glad that my mother sent my partner and i a gift certificate for an overnight treatment package. now i know not to return. while the staff was friendly and accommodating, the lodge seemed a little cramped and crowded. the compact spa and treatment area is not quite shielded from the parking lot (visible from the pools) and accompanying road noise. being vegetarian, we found the menu completely unaccomodating for a high-end restaurant. my partner ordered house-made ravioli... read more
Gorgeous getaway – Had a spectacular weekend with my girlfriends here....great service and wonderful food and the massage and spa were....undefineable! This is romantic, fun, and peaceful all at once. Everyone should take this opportunity.
WOW – The spa itself is very nice, but a bit small - especially the ladies locker room. Staff was very nice and professional. I had a Lemongrass Body Elixir there and it my skin was smooth like baby skin. You can use their pool and steam room before or after the treatment, which feels great! Just remember to bring you swimsuit. It's a bit of a drive, but it's worth it for the view - you can't beat the scene of the Snoqualmie Fall, it's absolutely beautiful. Yes it's a bit pricy, but for the service and the view, I'll definat... read more
Loved the Dining Room! – We always come here for the breakfast. If you can make it on a quiet weekday morning, do so. It is a lovely time of the week to be there, because you'll always score a great seat in the 'cab' overlooking Snoqualmie falls. Two for breakfast was ~$57, which to me is worth it for all of the items included. There are plenty of options. Valet parking for visitors of the Dining Room is free. Outside there is a lovely view of the falls with designated path and overlooking point to view the falls. We found t... read more
User review by sassy31 – The Salish Lodge is the BEST place to go for spa treatments of any kind, an romantic overnight stay or an incredible meal. There is no other place that compares.
Absolutely Amazing – I stayed at the Salish this past weekend with my boyfriend who is in the military. I thought it would be a relaxing retreat for him for the weekend--and my expectations were greatly exceeded. When we arrived, we received a free upgrade to a suite over looking the water fall. The room was very cozy and comfortable with amazing views. It was stocked with wood for the in-room fire place. Also, this was my favorite part, the view from the shower/jacuzzi tub was breathtaking. You could see the waterfall from ... read more
Avoid the restaurant! – We have been to eat here twice hoping for a special place to go. It was not what we expected. The staff is in need of training and the food is horrible & over-priced. We had to wait over an hour each time for our food and then it arrived cold. Go and see the falls but eat somewhere else.
Escape to the Spa – Try going off-season, when there are less patrons at the Spa. Then, I was able to have the entire pool/sauna/steam area to myself... such a fresh and relaxing treat with a great view! I went to the Salish Spa just for a 60 minute massage, and ended up spending about 3 hours soaking up their facilities.
